With a Romanian mother who modeled and (an absent) French father who acted, Maria Schneider had the genes for becoming a sultry starlet. She left home as a teen to pursue the silver screen. After an uncredited role in Les Femmes (1969), the gorgeous ingenue was cast in films such as Roger Vadim’s Hellé (1971) wherein she exposed her side breast and bush. But the sexy brunette didn’t hit it big until she popped up (and out) opposite Marlon Brando in the X-rated classic Last Tango in Paris (1972). Naturally, Maria showed off her beautiful naturals and every inch of her magnificent body, including her bare bum and bush. The flick’s explicit sex scenes shocked audiences, packed art-house theaters, and later raised questions about the ethics of the shoot. Fortunately, Ms. Schneider followed up the bad taste Tango left with her personal favorite and a career highlight: Michelangelo Antonioni’s The Passenger (1975). In the neo-noir drama, she can be seen (from a distance) laying naked with Jack Nicholson. By 1979, the pretty performer flashed her flesh in A Woman Like Eve and exposed her mams and muff in La derobade. The industrious actress also found work on TV, appearing in L' or noir de Lornac (1987) among other series. She continued making movies until her final appearance in Cliente (2008).
