Born in Kyiv, Ukraine, the Lovely Rita Burkovska graduated from her hometown’s University of Theater, Cinema, and Television in 2011 but didn’t land her first screen gig until 2015 when she starred in the dramatic short Oedipus Dreams. After that, she appeared in two more short films, Blue Blood Moon (2019) and In The Shadows (2019), and two features, Homefront (2016) and Stasis (also called Parthenon, 2018). Then in 2022, Rita portrayed the main character in the international film Butterfly Vision (Bachennya metelyka), about an assaulted soldier who discovers she’s pregnant when she returns from being held prisoner. What can’t be contained are Rita’s nips, seen poking through her shirt as she bares her back to the camera and rubs lotion on her stretch marks, or in flashbacks to her captive days while wearing a tight tank top. Hopefully this tasty Ukrainian dish gets more opportunities (with lighter subject matter) to show us what’s above and below her Borscht belt!
