We All Remember Kelly MacDonald Topless In Trainspotting
If you were an avid moviegoer in the 1990s and you were asked to name some of your favorite nude scenes, no doubt Kelly MacDonald’s sex scene from Trainspotting would no doubt make your list. Turns out, that scene also happens to be one Kelly MacDonald’s most memorable moments from making that movie.
Trainspotting just celebrated it’s 20 year anniversary, giving the world some insight into what life was like when it was filled with sex and drugs (though the film was very stylized), which not many of us had ever seen before. Also, the movie gave us a peek at a nudeKelly MacDonald, which none of us had ever seen before. Daniel Dylan Wray over at Vice sat down with MacDonald a few other stars of the film to talk about what is was like on the set. When it came to talking about memorable moments, Kelly MacDonald brought up one of our favorite scenes:
The sex scene was obviously quite nerve-racking. I was very sexually inexperienced at that stage and limited in that area, so it was all a bit embarrassing. I was so unthinking and so naive and young that that was the day I invited my mom and my brother to the set.
All awkwardness aside, the scene is pretty timeless. I think we are all glad that Kelly MacDonald found a way to get through the discomfort of her mom and brother being on set and create one hell of an awesome sex scene.
