In case you missed it, photos recently surfaced online from sexy singer/actress Janelle Monáe’s birthday trip to Mexico showing that things got spicy south of the border! Turns out the Glass Onion star showed up to her birthday dinner topless last week, striking a few poses and dancing around to a Mariachi band with just some gold paint adorning her own marvelous maracas.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, she told the story about what prompted her to bare her bongos in front of party guests, saying she”just wanted to be free” and that she’s known to be the one in the family “that will push the envelope.” Sound like our kind of party!
