This is Halsey's acting debut! According to Deadline, the 27-year-old pop icon will join Sydney in a movie called "National Anthem" with Sydney. The film is slated to be directed by Tony Tost and is about a big hunt for a...shirt. Specifically, a Lakota Native American Ghost Shirt, so it is not just any shirt.
According to Lakota lore, wearing a Ghost Dance shirt was impervious to bullets. The shirt was thought to have been worn in several battles and was believed to have supernatural powers. Who better to bring that story to life than two super hot chicks?
There are no details on what kinds of characters Halsey or Sydney are playing. Neither of the actresses is Native American, so I imagine they will have very interesting characters who might be on the hunt for the shirt. We will have to find out! One thing that I know for certain is that Halsey and Syd will look hot and if the director knows how to utilize these two actresses then he will include some nude scenes.
