She originally comes to us from Paris where she was born and raised. She studied at the world-renowned film school Le Femis which is where she started to experiment under the guidance of some of the best filmmakers in France. It shows in her work!

Coralie's career is admittedly just getting started. She first directed a short film in 2003 called The Telegram which was her big debut in the movie-making world. From there she directed the mini-series Les Fees Cloches as well as the short film Reality+ before she made the big film that got her the attention that she deserves.

In 2017 she directed her critically acclaimed thriller, Revenge. Matilda Anna Ingrid Lutz plays the leading badass lady, Jen. Jen is an American socialite dating her married neighbor Richard in secret. We see this sexy actress armed, dangerous, and sexy in several scenes. The plot follows the married neighbor who takes his mistress Jen with him on a hunting trip - uh oh! When things get rocky, she knows exactly where the guns are.

And things do get rocky! The couple is meeting up with Richard's friends who get there earlier than expected which means that Jen is no longer a secret. Drugs and lust ruin the trip as Richard's friends come on to Jen against her wishes which makes her pissed.

She takes her anger out on all of the men who try to silence her, especially after she reveals the nature of their affair to his friends. She runs away and then men chase her through the desert and try to hurt her, but she gets away and gets her revenge. Hey, that's the title! Hell truly hath no fury like a poorly treated mistress.

Things get really crazy from there in a movie filled with violence and peyote. We follow Jen through the desert as she both gets revenge and attempts to survive the harrowing hunting trip. It's a revenge movie that is both bloody and stylish.

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to rave reviews. It currently has a 92% on rotten tomatoes! That is quite a great impression for a foreign filmmaker. Check out a scene for yourself to get a taste of the kind of daring and sexy work Coralie is capable of:
