Beatrice Camurat reigns high in the world of French character actresses, although that statement does little in the way of actually acknowledging her true level of talent. Since her debut in 1980’s Plein sud, Beatrice has spent the better part of her career in the background of otherwise excellent stories, including 1981’s Dead Certain and 1984’s American Dreamer, which just so happened to be her first venture here in America. (She later appeared in yet another background part in 1995’s Jefferson in Paris.) Thankfully, like so many other pretty French actresses, Beatrice has been kind enough to reveal a smidgen of Skin from time to time. At first, she merely revealed her perky wee breasts in Un assassin qui passe and Un chien dans un jeu de quilles.
