Zola (2021)

If you know anything at all about the film Zola (2021), then you likely know that it's the first film ever based on a Twitter thread. Back in 2015, a waitress named Zola tweeted out an unbelievable tale over the course of 150 Tweets about an insane road trip she took through Florida with a stripper. The story was quickly optioned by, of all people, James Franco, who initially intended to direct a film based on it, but Franco wasn't involved with the finished product. In the film, Zola (Taylour Paige) is a waitress in Detroit who has a chance meeting one night with a stripper named Stefani (Riley Keough). The two become fast friends as Stefani convinces Zola that she could be making a lot more money working as a stripper with her, offering her a job at an exclusive strip club in Tampa where she could rake in ridiculous sums of money. Along for the ride on this trip down to Florida are Stefani's roommate mysteriously named X (Colman Domingo) and her pushover boyfriend Derreck (Nicholas Braun). Over the course of the next few days, Zola is exposed to some insane criminal behavior and pushed to do things she would've never dreamed possible only a few days prior. While Riley Keough has done her fair share of nudity in the past, she sadly doesn't doff her duds in this flick! However, Taylour Paige makes her nude debut here, baring her breasts during a sex scene just eight minutes in and flashing her bare buns four minutes later! Now that's something to Tweet about!
