Wolf Like Me (2022-2023)

Poor Gary (Josh Gad) is teetering on a breakdown of epic proportions. His wife, love of his life, died suddenly a while back and he's now a single father and widower, living in Australia where his wife was from, but he has no friends/family around to help him out.  So he spends his days trying to cheer up himself and his 11-year old daughter, who is just as sad as he is.  He's tried the dating scene, but he is just about as closed off and emotionless as you'd expect and doesn't ever get past a few dates.  Then one day, while out driving with his daughter, he is sideswiped by Mary (Isla Fisher), a vibrant and interesting redheaded woman with a gigantic secret that she does everything in her power to keep hidden. After the crash, she makes quite the connection with the single father and his daughter, probably for the first time with any man since the death of her own husband.  So both of them have plenty of baggage to cope with in their lives, so maybe a relationship isn't the smartest move, especially when Gary ends up locked in Mary's house on a full moon.  For Mary, the monthly full moon means that she transforms into a werewolf and has to lock herself in her basement and poor Gary just happens to be the only person who has ever found out.  She got bit by a "dog" in Prague while on vacation with her husband and ended up eating him by accident... So what's to say it won't happen again!  As she implied, with a Wolf Like Me around, no one is safe!  Lucky for us though, Isla Fisher plays the leading wolf-lady and shows a bit a skin in this series, even a bit of buns but we suspect it's a body double.
