The Vince Staples Show (2024-)

The 2024 Netflix Original Series The Vince Staples Show is a satirical take on the documentary format starring rapper and comedian Vince Staples as a fictionalized version of himself. Vince's big issue in the series is that while he has some notoriety within his Long Beach community, he's not quite rich or famous enough to buy his way out of trouble, leading him into some precarious situations. Think Curb Your Enthusiasm but with far more harsh consequences for its protagonist's actions, such as when a cop who pulls him over for speeding quotes a line from one of his songs back to him about how the only thing he runs from is the police. Andrea Ellsworth co-stars as Vince's girlfriend Deja and shows off some perky pokies in an orange top in the third episode!
