Earlier in the year, independent film company Neon rereleased a restored and remastered version of the acclaimed South Korean film Oldboy in theaters to celebrate the film’s 20th anniversary. The Park Chan-wook mystery raked in over $1 million its first week back, on top of inspiring a remake from award-winning American director Spike Lee starring Marvel costars Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Olsen that came to ten years ago this day.
