Review

In his most preposterous movie to date, The Cobbler (2014), Adam Sandler plays Max, a man who works in his family's shoe repair business. Alex has grown disenchanted with life, and has become increasingly dissatisfied with his job, but all of that is about to change when Max finds an ancient family heirloom that allows him to inhabit the body of any person whose shoes he puts on. Wackiness and hijinks ensue as he learns to walk a mile in someone else's shoes—in this film from the director of The Station Agent (2003) and The Visitor (2008). Since this is a PG-13 Adam Sandler movie, unfortunately, that means there's not going to be any nudity. We do get awfully close at the 29-minute mark thanks to the lovely Kim Cloutier comes into his shop sporting some nice cleavage! We then get a nice look at her nearly nude five minutes later when she goes home and hops in the shower! Too bad this movie wasn't called the Knobbler!
