Shook (2021)

Social media influencers are definitely very polarizing figures in the grand scheme of celebrity.  If you weren't sure, just go to a comments section of literally any influencer online and they jump between angry, horny, and oddly kind in a psychotic kind of way.  For social media star, Mia (Daisye Tutor), her rising star on several online platforms simply cannot be denied.  She gets invited to walk the red carpet, she makes money hand over fist promoting make-up line and accessories, and she also has a mysterious rabid fan who is putting her through hell online!  After Mia's friend, Genelle (real life influencer Genelle Seldon), is murdered by her own high heel while in her undies in a public bathroom at an event, she is seemingly the next target on the list of someone who wants more than to just hurt her feelings in the comments section on her Youtube channel.  They want blood!  When Mia wakes up one day and turns on her laptop to make the rounds and see how many "likes", "followers", and whatever other digital pats on the back she expects, she instead finds herself in the middle of a cat and mouse game where she needs to solve a series of riddles and play games to save her other influencer friends from being very publicly murdered!  Is this real life or is she just stuck in a digital nightmare?  She's Shook!  Speaking of "shook", you're definitely going to feel a little shake in your boxers when you see Genelle Seldon in her spanx in her bathroom scene, just ignore the vicious high heel murder that follows and focus on her slamming body bouncing away from the mysterious murderer.
