Sara is a member of the Hindi film dynasty the Pataudi family, her parents being well-known actors Amrita Singh and Saif Ali Khan. She would actually graduate with a degree in history and political science from Columbia University before embarking on her own acting career in 2018, though she wouldn’t achieve much success until 2021’s Atrangi Re despite being on the Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list of 2019. In 2023 she starred in the popular Indian rom com Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and followed that up in 2024 with the Netflix mystery comedy Murder Mubarak.
