A bleak Romanian tale of a man named Matthias (Marin Grigore) who heads back to his village in Transylvania after a violent, racist altercation at the German slaughterhouse where he had been working. Upon arriving, he discovers the 8 year old son (Mark Blenyesi) he has with his estranged wife Ana (Marcina Bârlădeanu) has been traumatized by a terrifying encounter he had in the woods with something (we never actually get to see it) on the way to school. Matthias decides to try and toughen the boy up while also dealing with his sheep farmer father Papa Otto (Andrei Finți) needing a brain scan and his on-again-off-again girlfriend Csilla (Judith State) needing to fill positions at the bread factory she runs. When she decides to hire migrants from Sri Lanka since no one else will take such low-paying jobs, their tiny community does not respond well to the outsiders. It all takes place over Christmastime, but despite being in the frigid cold, Judith turns up the heat with her fully nude bedroom scene about fifty-three minutes in! It starts with a close up of her trimmed taco and tush, tan lines and all, after which the camera lingers on her laying tits up in bed with Grigore. Then later we get a glimpse of her bare back and left breast as she gets dressed. R.M.N must stand for Really Magnificent Nudity!
