Elizabeth Berkley, who flirted with the L word during her Showgirls days, is joining the Showtime hit for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm to me exclusively. She'll play the straight girl that got away from Jennifer Beals' Bette in college.
Mr. Skin has hopes that as the storyline progresses Jennifer will be able to seduce Elizabeth into Sapphistry, but given Beals's frustrating insistence on keeping her B words firmly ensconced in her shirt, it doesn't seem likely. C'mon, Beals, let Berkley get a feel!
