To a movie lover, sexual satisfaction doesn't come in a little blue pill but rather a thin digital disc. The DVD is still relatively new, but it's already changed the face of home entertainment. Gone are those bulky videotapes. Even chains like Blockbuster and Best Buy are phasing out that antiquated technology. All hail the ruler of the idiot box!
But the DVD is so much more than merely sharper pictures and surround sound. Reflected on its shiny surface is a multitude of possibilities. It can hold so much content that directors add commentary, featurettes are produced to enhance the experience for the curious film buff, and, breast of all, there is the inclusion of the deleted scene. Below is a selection of some of the hottest strips of celluloid that in the recent past would have been lost to the cutting-room floor.
Directors have become so fond of the DVD that they spice up their movies solely for the home release, knowing that those skin scenes will have to be removed to insure a commercial rating. Studios aren't immune to the lure of the DVD either. They have created dirty menus to market their lustful products, as you'll soon read. So sit back and grab the remote with one hand as you go on a journey of discovery among some of our favorite DVD sextras!
Against All Odds (1984)
What are the odds of catching Rachel Ward (Picture: ) nude on the beach? Pretty sweet on DVD!
Baba Yaga (1973)
There are better shots of the nude Isabelle De Fun?/a> in this cult classic but not ofCarroll Baker (Picture: 1), who flashes her full furry frontal only in this deleted scene.
The Beastmaster (1982)
Tanya Roberts (Picture: 1 - 2) will make you want to master (bate) your beast when she opens her robe not once but twice for a boob-eye view.
Big Boobs Buster (1990)
The Japanese are different from you and me--they're kinkier! Just look at this hoot(er) of a flick. And if you can't get enough of Mariko Itsuki's (Picture: 1 - 2) and Natsuko Kayama's (Picture: 1) sushi rolls, then take out your chopsticks and enjoy these extras.
Black Heat (1975)
Ebony and ivory get together in perfect harmony in this lost scene, which features some outstanding jugs from Jana Bellan (Picture: 1).
Blind Date (1984)
Cheers to Kirstie Alley (Picture: 1 - 2), who finally exposes her mugs in this, her only onscreen nude scene. Drink up!
Boat Trip (2002)
How do you turn a comedy about two straight guys sneaking onto a gay cruise ship into a must-see DVD? Get Deanna Brooks (Picture: 1), Jami Ferrell (Picture: 1), and Natalia Sokolova (Picture: 1) to do the menu items with their items hanging out!
Boogie Nights (1997)
Can anyone get enough of a naked Heather Graham (Picture: 1 - 2)? The answer, if you need to ask, is no. So feast on this deleted scene with her deleted top. Look at those roller-girls!
Caligula (1979)
Even an X-rated movie can use some extra sex. And so Anneka Di Lorenzo (Picture: 1) and Lori Wagner (Picture: 1) expand upon their les-a-thon with pants-raising results.
Cheerleader Massacre (2003)
Dana Pine (Picture: 1), Regina Russell (Picture: 1), and Julie K. Smith (Picture: 1) figure if they've got to go they might as well have some fun in the tub beforehand--and they finally share it with us on the DVD.
Cruel Intentions (1999)
The dirtiest movie ever made that never featured any nudity actually did have some skin in a deleted breast shot from Alisha Klass (Picture: 1). And what Klass it is!
Delta Delta Die! (2003)
Julie Strain (Picture: 1 - 2 - 3) is a DVD-extras cottage industry here as she packs in five deleted scenes with her giant boulders, doing everything from massaging them in the bubble bath to having two lucky frat boys suckle on her nipples.
The Deviants (2004)
There are better shots of a fully nude Tiffany Shepis (Picture: 1) in the movie, but any chance to catch more of her ample bosom is cause for celebration (and masturbation).
Dish Dogs (2000)
Shannon Elizabeth (Picture: 1 - 2) was captured topless in a changing room before she changed that pretty natural top into something even greater.
Golf Balls! (1999)
If you want more of Amy Lynn Baxter (Picture: 1 - 2) rubbing down her wet tits, well, you've got it in two extended scenes sure to leave viewers wet.
The Hole (2001)
It's an odd choice, including a deleted scene of a topless Keira Knightley (Picture: 1 - 2) dead on a morgue slab, but we're not complaining.
Ivansxtc (2000)
Peter Weller likes to party and share the wealth. He pulls down Victoria Silvstedt's (Picture: ) top at a party--and now there's a party in your pants.
Made (2001)
Famke Janssen works as a stripper in this and yet never exposes her frame. Thankfully, in a deleted lap dance Jenteal (Picture: - ) gets down to the dirty. It makes the movie.
Not Another Teen Movie (2001)
When a character is named Areola, a naked foreign exchange student played by Cerina Vincent (Picture: 1 - 2), who wouldn't want to be her study partner? Here's an opportunity to study more of her parts.
Paganini (1989)
A renowned pervert like director/star Klaus Kinski wouldn't let a piece of ass like Deborah Caprioglio (Picture: 1 - 2) sneak through one of his movies without offering a peek. She may have gone through the film without a flash, but there was some lost footage that's more revealing.
Pink Flamingos (1972)
Mary Vivian Pearce (Picture: 1) is one of the sexiest anomalies in the carnival of director John Waters's freak show, and this bawdy Baltimore beauty only exposed her pretty bitties in this extra.
Poetic Seduction: Dead Students Society (1998)
Everyone loves to see Misty Mundae get busy with her girlie posse--or herself, for that matter--but here she gets it on with a man . . . man, oh man!
Re-Animator (1985)
Not only does injecting Barbara Crampton (Picture: 1 - 2 - 3) with re-animating fluid bring her naked body back to life, it does wonders for the audience.
Something's Got to Give (1962)
This may be the extra to overshadow all other extras. Marilyn Monroe (Picture: 1 - 2 - 3), arguably the juiciest bombshell of all time, goes skinny dipping. We're lucky to have such archivists working in the DVD industry.
Spun (2002)
Chloe Hunter (Picture: 1) gets bound and banged in the movie, but it's the brief shot of her pink pie that makes this extra extra-special.
Thelma & Louise (1991)
If you love Geena Davis (Picture: 1) then rush out and buy the Special Edition of this classic girl-buddy movie, for it's the only time Geena has shown skin--her booty, to be precise.
Van Wilder (2002)
It's got laughs and tits, but to make the DVD release worth releasing something sticky, the studios added a topless menu starring Ivana Bozilovic (Picture: 1). And you'll vanna see her!
Waking the Dead (2000)
Jennifer Connelly (Picture: 1 - 2) has a lot of what I like to call the moist, but this movie didn't really contain much of it until the DVD came out--and so did her girls.
What's the Worst That Could Happen? (2001)
That's an easy question to answer. Someone could have seen the American version of this comedy and not realized that Sascha Knopf (Picture: 1 - 2) went topless in the European cut--and the DVD, snatch . . . uh, I mean, naturally.
