Lelé (real name Leslie) studied acting in her naive Peru before making the move to Sao Paulo to pursue a career in theatre, film, and television. She made her first television appearances in 2011, on the biographical La Perricholi and the dramatic miniseries Gamarra. Aside from 2014’s Peruvian historical romance La amante del libertador, Lelé would continue to do mostly television roles, with the most notable being Alicia Izquierdo on the reincarnation-themed action series Estoy vivo in 2019. That is, it was her most notable role, until Lelé’s nude debut in the Netflix’s Spanish adventure crime series Sky Rojo. She pops up in the third season as Brigitte, a glittery, toe-sucking sex worker who drops her bikini top so her bosses can closely examine her Peruvian party pillows because they suspect she may be pregnant. Turns out they have a very hands-on management style.
