This esteemed South Korean actress actually started out as a photographer (using the name Zhuge Bong-ryeon) after studying at Daegu Arts University and then getting her Masters in Photography from Seoul’s Chung-Ang University. But after seeing a musical theatre performance by actor Park Dong-ha in 2003, she decided to pursue acting , and made her stage debut two years later in Five Sketches About Love. After a number of notable appearances in musicals such as Nunsense, Laundry, Rock Sitter, and Those Days, Bong-ryeon would branch out into film and television, though she continued to work on the stage and even went on to play Hamlet in 2021. But since 2012, she’s popped up over dozen times on screen in films such as Okja (2017), Burning (2018), and Kim Ji-young: Born 1982 (2019), as well as television shows like While You Were Sleeping (2017), Hometown Cha-Cha (2021), and Crash Course in Romance (2023). Where’s the nudity, you ask? Well for that you have to go to the 2020 web series Sweet Home, where Bong-ryeon was seen in the buff in the first season. She ends up naked and covered in goo in an apocalyptic world full of monsters, and you’ll be shooting goo when you see her amazing bare ass!
