Born and raised in Medellin, Colombia, this brunette beauty began modeling at age 13 when she was contracted by Colombian designer Angel Yanez. Three years later, she was signed by the Roxanne fashion agency in France, and started appearing in magazines. Despite her modeling career and early training in music and dance, Laura actually went on to major in architecture at the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotaka, but eventually decided to pursue acting and traveled to New York to study the craft. She’s been actively working in film and television since 2005, with her most noted performances being her first major role in the series Sin Senos No Hay Paraíso (2008), Sargento Diez in the crime show Bloque de Búsqueda (2016), and Julia Escallón, who she played for three years on La Ley del Corazón (2016-2019). Her biggest film role was in the 2014 drama Escobar: Paradise Lost starring Benicio Del Toro, though she’s also had leas roles in 2016’s Pablo and 2020’s Loco For Vos. Laura made headlines when she joined the second season of Netflix thriller Pálpito (or The Marked Heart). She had worked with Netflix before on two episodes of Narcos, but it was the 2023 series that marked her nude debut when she bares her butt after getting out of a swimming pool.
