The self-identified Afro-Latinx doll Julissa Calderon is bound to blow your mind as the star of the Netflix series Gentefied, playing Yessika Castillo in 2020. She’s the girlfriend of a female artist, and with that role, comes plenty of making out, flashes of girl on girl skin and even a Wonder Woman costume that shows off her cheeks—the ones underneath her cape, not on her gorgeous face. Before that, though, the New York born, Miami raised native was featured on Buzzfeed’s Pero Like channel, where her videos have about one million views, with some being featured on The Huffington Post and CNN Español. Her first official acting gig was as a waitress in the primetime network series Revenge in 2015, something Julissa could relate to, since she herself was serving tables before she started her Buzzfeed gig. She then played the recurring character Angelique in the web series Stepford Sidechix in 2017, before finally landing her role in Gentefied, which was produced and directed in part by America Ferrera. On the big screen, Julissa makes her debut as Yakuanda in Bridges(2021), an indie film. Combining her talent for talk with her Netflix connection, Julissa created the series Go Off with Jess & Julissa in 2021, co-starring Jessica Marie Garcia. Airing on Netflix YouTube and Con Todo Netflix, the show is described as the two actresses “bringing you the latest on what they’re watching, pop culture, comedy sketches, and fan advice.” Sounds like there won't be many opportunities for nudity in there, but one never knows!
