Julia Blackburn first got cast in a movie called The Head Mistress (1968), though at that time she went by the name Bermuda Schwartz. The plot may sound farfetched, that of a man who pretends to be an imbecile so that he can work at an all-girl’s school, but anything is worth getting head from a mistress. She continued through the late 1960s appearing in provocative features, such as Sappho Darling (1968) and Alice in Acidland (1969), but we have a special place in our pants for her role as Lucy, Rick’s Bride, in The Ramrodder (1969).
