Aussie actress Joanne Samuel is five feet, five inches of maddening, maximum sexiness. Born August 5, 1957 in New South Wales, she's been a staple of Australian film and film for decades. It's a shame she hasn't done much more performing stateside. We would've loved to have gotten more familiar with this Down Under dong magnet. After years of soap work on the Aussie show The Young Doctors, Joanne won her most notable acting role as Max's wife Jessie Rockatansky in Mad Max (1979) after the actress originally cast in the role, Rosie Bailey, was injured in a road accident. How ironic. It was a tough break for Rosie, but a breakout role for Joanne. In the film, she sports a smoking brown bikini while chilling on the beach. Miss Roackatansky's rock hard and tan body then get their close-up, as she lies in the sand and the camera makes sure to focus on her beach bum. We'd like to rub oil all over her, if oil wasn't driving murderous hordes of bikers to slaughter civilians. While she never went on to be the star Mel Gibson did, mainly because she dies in the first movie while Mel went on to make the bigger budget sequels, Joanne went on to do movies like Nightmaster (1988) and shows like Skyways and Hey Dad...!, before playing Mrs. Bingle in the not so shockingly nudity free The Wiggles Movie (1997). Still acting after all these years, Joanne was Doris Mercher in My Pet Dinosaur (2017), and Therese in Smoke Between Trees (2019). But despite having spent years on screen, Joanne Samuel never gave us the full show. Still, for the sexiness she did offer, we're a fan of Joanne!
