Known in Taiwan and abroad as an actress and television host, Hsia was discovered at age fifteen when she participated in the show variety show Guess and won first place in the junior high school beauty contest segment. In 2001, she made her acting debut on the series Poor Prince, and since then her career exploded on the small screen, appearing in What is Love (2012), Rock’n’ Road - in which she also appeared on the soundtrack - (2014), Thirty Something (2015-2016), and Women in Taipei (2022), although she may be best known for hosting the SET Metro variety shows Delicious Food All Over the World and Stylish Man – The Chef. Ms. Hsia has also performed in as number of theatre productions, music videos, and films, such as Nina Wu (2019) and American Girl (2021). In 2024, the Taiwanese star joined the cast of the Netflix rom com series Let’s Talk About CHU, playing one half of a married couple with Umin Boya who seem to be experiencing the seven-year itch due to problems connecting in the bedroom.
