Director Sam Raimi (Spider-Man,The Evil Dead) is known for his stubborn attachment to his casting choices, and now he's got his sights set on Hilary Swank for his upcoming big-budget fantasy Oz: The Great and Powerful. Hilary would be playing the Wicked Witch of the East, older sister to Mila Kunis' Wicked Witch of the West.
But the studio suits aren't exactly under Hilary's spell- fearing the box-office curse that has plagued Swank lately, they've proposed Blue Valentine's Michelle Williams for the role instead. Now it looks like Raimi's settling in for a long battle with the studio, leading us here at Skin Central to wonder: which witch is more deserving of the pointy hat?
