Heatwave (1982)

The real life disappearance of Australian activist Juanita Nielson gets dramatized in Heatwave (1982). Businessman Peter Houseman (Chris Haywood) is financing a giant development named Eden to replace a poor inner-city neighborhood in Sydney, but the current residents are dead set against leaving. Leading the opposition is Kate Dean (Judy Davis) and Mary Ford (Carole Skinner) who run the community newspaper and have managed to enact a construction ban. When one day Mary disappears and the remaining houses are set on fire, Kate realizes that the developers are more ruthless than she could have possibly imagined. Judy Davis bares bite-sized boobage during a darkened bedroom scene, and Gillian Jones breaks out her long-nipped pips as a slinky stripper. You’ll feel the heat from Heatwave in your pants!
