Today's foreign film for Foreign Film Friday is a Spanish vampire classic with busty babes and lesbian themes. We're looking at The Blood Spattered Bride which is about Susan, a newlywed nymph, who suddenly becomes haunted by the vision of a ghostly bride named Mircalla Karstein who murdered her husband on her wedding night.
The hauntings begin when her new husband scares her by sharing his sexual fantasies. Not only that, but Susan finds out that Mircalla is an ancestor of her husband's. She then seeks help from Carmilla, also a descendant of Mircalla, who offers her comfort in more ways than one.
Susan is played by Maribel Martin who is stunning in several scenes like the one that prominently displays her black bush.
Blond baberellaAlexandra Bastedo plays Mircalla Karstein (and Carmilla) and she’s the sexiestvampire we’ve ever seen. There is definite skingoria when it comes to some of her nudity, but she also has plenty of skintastic boob close-ups that are free of blood.
This is extremely loosely based on the lesbian vampire story Carmilla by JosephSheridan Le Fanu which is one of the earliest known English stories with lesbian themes and characters. There are actually so many movies based on this short story - we could write a list just of films based on this story (all showing a lot of boobage, of course).
