En garde (2004)

An exceptional teen struggles to fit in at a Catholic boarding school in En Garde (2004). Alice (Maria Kwiatkowsky) is a shy 16-year-old with a gift: her extraordinary sense of hearing. This sensitivity makes it difficult for her to connect with others, however, and her only friend at her Catholic foster home is Kurdish refugee Berivan (Pinar Erincin). But when Berivan begins spending time with a boy at the school, their friendship is tested.
