Dear Zoe (2022)

Based on a 2005 YA novel by Phillip Beard, this overwrought teen drama is anchored by Stranger Things star Sadie Sink as Tess, a sixteen year old still mourning the loss of her younger half-sister Zoe who was killed in a hit-and-run accident on the day of the September 11th attacks. Her relationship with her mother (Jessica Capshaw) and stepfather (Justin Bartha) becomes so strained that she decides to leave and move in with her drug-dealing slacker of a bio dad (Theo Rossi). She begins to test boundaries in the typical teenage way - drinking, smoking, and forging a surreptitious connection with the attractive older neighbor (Kweku Collins). While the film Is light on skin, Jessica and Sadie make a stunning mother-daughter combo, sporting captivating cleavage and curves that definitely run in the family.
