Bronson (2008)

The hard-boiled biopic Bronson (2008) stars Tom Hardy as Michael Peterson, a bare-knuckle boxer who changed his name to Charles Bronson and soon became known as Britain’s most violent prisoner. After he was arrested for attempting to rob a post office in 1974, Peterson spent all but a few months of the next 36 years behind bars, was involved in more than a dozen hostage-taking incidents, and spent 30 years in solitary confinement.
