She was the most-followed female creator on the app until November 2015. Time magazine declared her to be one of the most influential people on the internet and she was a focal subject in the 2018 Netflix documentary The American Meme which was all about viral content creation and social media apps. The Pennsylvania native branched out beyond her videos on Youtube and Instagram. Fun fact: in 2019 Brittany Furlan married the love of her life. That man? Tommy Lee. It's true! THE Tommy Lee. Mrs. Tommy Lee makes her hubby proud with her movie roles that include playing a bandmate's girlfriend in 2019's The Dirt. How appropriate! She has also starred in The Unicorn (2018) as Samantha, Wrestling Isn't Wrestling (2015) as Goldberg, Spy Intervention (2020) as Brianna Brown and her debut in 2015's comedy We Are Your Friends as Sara. Her best role to date was in the comedy Airplane Mode which stars a lot of Youtube and social media influencers in a comedy that feels like a modernized Airplane! for the social media age. She joins the mile high club in one scene where she has sex in an airplane bathroom.
