Small disclaimer before Mr. Skin starts: this is a foreign film. Battle in Heaven (2005) is a multicultural collaboration between Mexico, France, Belgium, and Germany. It was filmed in Mexico, and shot in Spanish, releasing under the title Batallo en el Cielo. Now that you've been forewarned, you can jump head first into this feast for the eyes, which was actually a nominee for the Palm d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival. This disturbing and beautiful film begins with a botched infant kidnapping where the child dies. Things peter out from there, but in the most perverse way. The lead character (and kidnapper), portrayed by Marcos Hernández, has sex with his obese wife, played by the nude Bertha Ruiz.As a working-class dude, he drives for a general, who has a daughter who really likes to have sex, and will indulge with just about everyone she meets. She's played by Anapola Mushkadiz, who loses all of her clothes for this role, giving close-up and long looks of her neatly trimmed bush, as well as her shapely ass and lovely lady lumps. And since Mr. Skin started with a warning, it's only fair he ends with one, too. When the camera focuses in on Anapola's pink bits, getting up close and personal with them, it also captures Marcos' naked pieces. Mr. Skin advises you to direct your attention to the left side of the screen, and to keep it firmly there if you have no interest in seeing the worm emerge from the nest.
