When the great streaming wars of the late 2010s kicked off, a lot of the new streaming services offered to revive some classic shows in the name of getting subscribers interested in what they were doing. Naturally, HBO Max wanted to bring one of HBO's signature shows, Sex and the City, back for the 2020s and that's exactly what happened when And Just Like That... debuted on the streaming service in early December, 2021. It's been 11 years since Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie, Cynthia Nixon's Miranda, and Kristin Davis' Charlotte last appeared together in the theatrically released Sex and the City 2 (2010), and while they may be physically missing a major cast member in Kim Cattrall's MIA Samantha, the ladies haven't missed a step in over a decade. With Samantha allegedly enjoying the single life in London, the swinging NYC pals have their own issues with Carrie successfully parlaying her popular Instagram account into a popular podcast. Miranda, meanwhile, has quit her job in the corporate world to go back to school and get her Masters in Human Rights Law, while Charlotte is wrestling with her decision to continue dyeing her hair. Oh women, it's always something, amirite fellas? While we certainly don't know what the future holds for this series, the debut episode was entirely devoid of any nudity from our three favorite stars. While Sarah Jessica Parker will more than likely continue being a proud never nude, but the same can't be said for the show's other stars. Miranda takes cues from Cynthia Nixon in real life by coming out as queer! She doesn't waste any time, and in episode seven has lesbian sex with Carrie's boss, played by Sara Ramirez! Sara even kisses Cynthia's bare breasts, which look absolutely amazing at 55. And just like that... we're horny.
