American Gigolo (2022)

Debuting on Showtime in the late summer of 2022, American Gigolo is a sequel to the 1980 Paul Schrader film of the same name, though Schrader himself had nothing to do with the show and has decried its very existence. We're not quite so dismissive of the idea, especially because it seems like the perfect series to bring us some great nudity! Jon Bernthal steps into the role of Julian Kay—originated in Schrader's film by Richard Gere—who is being released from prison 15 years after being falsely convicted of the murder of one of his wealthy clients (played in a bloody flashback by a topless Chelsea Edmundson). Julian has no interest in returning to his old life but as a man not qualified to do much else in this world, it isn't long before he's pimping himself out to wealthy women once again! Gretchen Mol steps into the role of Michelle Stratton—originated by Lauren Hutton—and she adds some non-nude sex appeal to the show's first episode, along with some terrific T'n'A in that same episode from nudecomer Jennifer Schwary!
