A Northern California native, Amanda Loncar hails from Arcata in Humboldt County and attended high school in Sacramento (like the kids from Eight is Enough). Unlike other aspiring thespians, the blonde hottie did not have to move to The Golden State since she was already there, so instead she moved to New York City when she was 18 and stuck around. And like any New York actress, made her official, seen-by-the-masses debut in an episode of Law & Order, the Criminal Intent version, in 2005. In 2006, she nabbed the part of Olive Bettes in the mini-series The Bedford Diaries, with a bunch of hot NY up-and-comers who eventually came up, and took on the recurring role of Piper in the TV series The Loop that same year as a sexy redhead who looks great in a bikini or a bra. Amanda picked up a bigger role as Serra in the film On the Road with Judas (2007) with Eddie Kaye Thomas, and smaller roles as Candy in Live! (2007) with Eva Mendes and David Krumholz, and as a young assistant in Lions for Lambs (2007) with Robert Redford, Meryl Streep, and Tom Cruise. The hot honey popped up as Jackie Escott on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy in 2007, and as Sasha Winters in Lipstick Jungle in 2008. In 2011, she was Holly in the TV movie Lovelives, starring people whose names you probably don’t know, but with faces you would. The starlet’s work was a little erratic at the end there, but she had a really good reason: she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. After multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiations, “I made terminal brain cancer my bitch,” as she proclaims on her Twitter profile.
