There has been something wonderful going on in pop culture around the world and it is a nostalgic look back at the golden age of porn. Shows about porn and pornstars have been made over the past five or so years all over the world from Hollywood to Japan to Brazil and more! I want to take a look at these shows and ask why these are all happening right now. Is it just because we're all horny? Honestly, that's a good enough answer for me!
Let's check five sexy shows about porn:
The Deuce
The Deuce muff dives into the seedy heart of 1970s Times Square in New York City where the porn industry was thriving. In this world porn business shifted from being underground and bankrolled by crime lords to becoming a real industry all on its own. All of that happened during this time and that is what The Deuce shows us.
We meet a variety of characters, but Maggie Gyllenhaal's Candy is central to the show. Candy was a prostitute who got involved in porn and worked her way up the ladder to become a prominent member of the industry who even directed and produced porn.
Emily Meade was a breakout star on the show who showed her breasts over a dozen times. She is a star who did not mind getting undressed for all kinds of wild pornshoots. She's far from the only one, but she is a total star in the series as the hot and sexy Lori.
Hard
Hard is a Brazilian show that focuses on a woman who inherits her husband's porn production company. Faced with the decision to shut it all down or keep it going in his honor, she chooses to step up and become a porn producer despite not knowing anything about that world. That's when the nudity starts!
This series was based on a French series from 2008, but the Brazilian one has spicier nude scenes. There are a lot of girls who go nude and they don't even all go nude in their pornshoots. They make plenty of time to go naked when they aren't on set and they even go to some wild parties that end in toplessness. Those are my favorite kinds!

The Naked Director
The Naked Director is a hot show about a real porn producer in 1980s Japan named Toru Muranishi who was prolific in his adult filmmaking. This series is based on his life and misadventures and it has a lot - and I mean A LOT - of porny nude scenes that feature hot Japanese actresses. Do you know anything about the porn industry in 1980s Japan? I didn't either which is why this show is sexy and educational. My favorite way to learn!

Her family, however, is often embarrassed by her and she and her husband have to keep their sex life alive while her videos help other people with theirs. It isn't easy being an adult entertainment diva!
One thing that I don't love about this show is that Hayley Squires wears prosthetic breasts. I happen to think that her prosthetics look really good - a lot better than other prosthetic breasts we see in other shows. She nearly had me fooled!
Minx
Minx has been the latest show-about-porn that got a lot of buzz. The HBO Max series focuses on a porn magazine that is meant for a female audience, so it featured naked men. Just because the show is about porn for women, doesn't mean that there are only naked men in the show. Actually, a lot of the male nudity is prosthetic, but the female nudity in the show is all real.
Kim Senser takes the lead on hot topless scenes, like one in which she plays a naughty school girl who gets spanked by a sexy schoolmarm. Kim's cans are out which looks like is a part of her school uniform. Tits out is the way to go at Bad Girl High! These naughty minxes really let the show live up to its name.
So why have these shows been made recently? Perhaps a growing acceptance of sex work and nudity in films makes us nostalgic for the Golden Age of porn when everything wasn't immediately available online. Perhaps producers know that sex sells and these kinds of shows sell sex in interesting ways. Perhaps everyone is just horny! Whatever the reason is, I say: keep 'em comin'!
