24 horas de placer (1969)

In the South American domestic comedy 24 horas de placer (1969), a middle-aged couple watches their marriage become threatened by infidelities. Silvia Pinal and Joaquín Cordero play a couple who can’t seem to rekindle the flame despite numerous attempts at sparking excitement. When Ruben (Cordero) cheats one time too many, Catalina (Pinal) decides that two can play at that game and abruptly sets out to bed a famous novelist (Mauricio Garcés). Despite the racy subject matter, director René Cardona Jr. keeps his comedy family friendly, although Pinal looks undeniably ravishing even when she’s clothed.
