SPOILERS AHEAD

After last night's penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, it's safe to say that whatever kingdom there is left to rule is going to need a calm, even-handed leader. Dany burned King's Landing to the ground last night, fully embracing her mantle as the Mad Queen, allowing vengeance to get the better of her and making the survivors left in Westeros wonder if they've backed the wrong horse.

Needless to say it was a divisive episode last night and one which is going to have people drawing up sides on this argument. If nothing else, this has already been one of the most divisive seasons of television in history, with fans on both sides of the issue declaring every successive episode "the best" or "the worst" in the show's history.

This is what happens when you make bold choices, though. It tends to divide fandom and get people to pick sides when there aren't really sides to be taken. Don't get me wrong, I'm not thrilled with every decision made this season, but I'm willing to see where they're going with it before making a judgment call on the overall quality of a product.

The wait isn't long now as the final episode of Game of Thrones airs next Sunday, May 19, on HBO! Also, this guy wins the comment of the day award for his comment on this trailer over on YouTube.
