First Her Clothes, Now Her Crown
The nude photos circulating this week of 18 year-old Sofia Rudieva, the erstwhile model from St. Petersburg (formerly Petrograd, formerly Leningrad, formerly St. Petersburg) who was crowned Miss Russia earlier this month, have cost her the title.
Now, as the pageant rules established during the 1993 constitutional crisis wherein a besotted Boris Yeltsin dissolved the Russian parliament clearly state, the title reverts to Vice-Miss Russia Svetlana Stepankovskaya.
While Svetlana is undoubtedly as pud-poundingly pulchritudinous a post-politiburo piece of pudenda as was Sofia, she’s not naked on the Internet. Not yet, anyway.
Meanwhile, Brazilian reality TV star Maria Cardi is sitting pretty after videos of her slobbering on a knob and getting nailed in cowgirl position were leaked on the web, but, presumably because she appearednaked inPlayboy34 years ago, would-be Canadian first lady Margot Kidder is penniless and insane, reduced to doing The Vagina Monologues.

Nude photos of Miss Russia 2009 Sofia Rudieva that were circulated online days after she was crowned prompted the organizers to strip her of her title. Svetlana Stepankovskaya, the first runner-up will now go to Miss World and the second runner-up is more likely to compete at Miss Universe.
The nude photos of Sofia caught the Miss Russia organization off guard and considered the entire incident as a "stain" to its reputation. Russia is one of the countries that are closely watched in the international pageant. In 2008, Russians made the cut in all major four pageants with the exception of Miss International, and even took the Miss World crown.
After starving the Ukraine, unleashing the world’s worst nuclear catastrophe, and killing a dog in space, Russia has finally suffered a stain to its reputation. But if you go back to those naked photos of Sofia Rudieva, you may well have a stain on your pants.
