AlthoughTommy Wiseau has been quite the prolific actor and tireless spokesman for his debut feature film The Room over the last two decades, it remains the last feature film thathe actually directed. Well, now he's back behind the camera of a major motion picture for the first time in sixteen years, and the result is Big Shark.

I'm not entirely sure which crazeWiseauthinks he's cashing in on—Sharknado? The Meg? New Orleans tax credits?—but he, The Room collaborator Greg Sestero, and their drug buddyIsaiah LaBorde play firefighters dealing with a very different sort of calamity in The Big Easy. That calamity is the titular aquatic predator who, from the sound of things, definitely gets the best of Wiseau's character Patrick.

There's a lot to unpack here from Wiseau's claims that he's from New Orleans adding a layer of mystery to the film's setting, to the fact that Sestero's character is named Georgie, to the overarching question of "is this a joke?" And on and on like that the list goes into infinity.

The big question remains, will there be any nudity? The Room famously features Wiseau's bare ass several times, in addition to some toplessness from Juliette Danielle...
