I was recently alerted to a fascinating 1979 gem of a vampire movie that almost no one talks about. We should talk about it for two reasons: the plot is hilariously insane and revolves around disco, and the leading lady goes nude A LOT. It's Spooky Season and spooky things can definitely get horny, so let's talk about 1979's Nocturna.
Let's talk about the plot first because I can hardly believe it. Basically, Nocturna is the titular character who also happens to be Count Dracula's granddaughter. Don't ask questions about lineage or vampire pregnancy, but she is apparently the granddaughter and she is also a vampire. She helps her grandpa run his hotel in Transylvania. That's right: Dracula's Castle is now a hotel! The once-feared monster is now working in the tourism industry.
Nocturna meets a guest whom she falls in love with. He also happens to be a disco dancer in New York City. This is a disco Dracula movie! He teaches Nocturna the ways of disco and she is entranced. SHE is obsessed with HIM and disco is to blame! He goes back home to New York City and she decides to leave her vampire life and hotel duties behind and follow the disco beats to her lover in NYC.
When she is in New York, she has some funny scenes in which she hangs out with a group of vampires and talks about the hottest trend in bloodsucking which is some form of smoking vampire weed. Hey, it was the 70s! These groovy ghouls also invite Nocturna to a brothel where she watches three vampire babes get naked and suck a guy's blood.
You'll want Nocturna to suck something else when you see her go nude. Nai Bonet stars as Nocturna and she is HOT. She goes nude twice. Once in a sex scene with her disco dancer. The two of them put the moves on one another in bed and Nai rolls around in the buff to show her booty. Her glutes are perky, fit, and sexy!
Her best nude scene is when she undresses and slips into a sudsy bathtub to slowly and sensually wash herself. We are treated to closeups of her suck sacks while Dracula's granddaughter washes her slim and sexy figure.
Who is Nai Bonet? She's a total babe, that's who. She was a Vietnamese belly dancer who acted in the late 60s and throughout the 70s. She was best known for her stunning good looks. Because of that, she had no problem getting naked. She was proud of the way she looked! So am I in sexy scenes like this one where Nai Bonet will give you a Bonet:
The film doesn't end there! While Nocturna is dancing the night away and smoking weed blood, Dracula goes to New York and finds his former lover Jugulia Vein (GREAT name) who is played by Yvonne de Carlo of The Munsters. It's hilarious!
All of this is an entertaining time, but it is also a sexy movie to watch. You won't be able to take your eyes off of Nai Bonet!
