Latin American actress Tahimí Alvariño was born in Cuba in 1963. Although her earliest intentions were to be a doctor like her father, she wound up acting after the sight of blood made her faint. She’s been acting since the late 80s, working on projects for theatre, TV, and feature length movies. One of her earliest appearances in cinema was for Venir al mundo in 1989, but then wasn’t seen in movies until 2000 for The Waiting List. The wait was worth it, though, because in this movie there are plenty of chances for chest ogling when Tahimí removes her shirt more than once. Eight years later she appeared in Cuban movie Horn of Plenty (2008), and most recently she showed up in the Colombian television series La traicionera in 2012. Currently, Tahimí has made her home Colombia, where she lives with her husband, actor Barbaro Marín.
