It was only two years ago, but it deserves to be praised for throwing two of the hottest and most Skintastic starlets together for a lesbian reimagining of a true-crime story. Today for Throwback Thursday let's throw it back to 2018's Lizzie which looks at the infamous Lizzie Borden murders.
A quick fact about the real story: no one knows exactly what happened. That's why the Lizzie Borden case is ripe for interpretation which is what this movie does. This movie looks at the theory that Lizzie not only gave her dad and stepmom wacks with the ole' ax, but that she had some help from the family maid. Amazingly - and not a lot of people probably realize this today - but Lizzie went to trial for the murders and was acquitted. The evidence against her seems to overwhelmingly suggest that she's responsible for the brutal crimes, but since no one knows for sure what happened it's hard to say. One theory, however, is that the Irish maid working for the Borden family either helped Lizzie or knows what actually happened which is where this film comes into play.
Chloë Sevigny plays Lizzie Borden and Kristen Stewart plays the Irish maid, Bridget Sullivan. The pair become lesbian lovers who conspire together to kill Lizzie's parents. The best part? They do it topless. Easy cleanup, I guess. It definitely makes it easier for us to watch the action.
Don't worry. They aren't just killing naked. There's a two-minute scene where the pair get frisky together in the barn. It's a real barn burner! You'll give yourself 40 wacks for sure...wacking off, that is. Watch it here:
