It is short shorts season and I need to know if my fellow lovers of Skin think that celebrities in short shorts are hot or not. Short shorts: do you love them or hate them? I have a feeling that you love them. I know that I do! I appreciate looking at some thigh meat and a bit of cheek in the back, so let's celebrate one of the hottest looks of summer: the short short.
There are many kinds of short shorts. The classic is the daisy duke, popularized by southern belles. These cut-off denim shorts are extremely thigh-baring and they tend to be a bit cheeky in the back (meaning they show some butt cheek!). They were named after the character Catherine Bach played on the 1980s TV show The Dukes of Hazzard. Her character? Daisy Duke, of course!
This is a classic, sexy look. Nothing screams American summer more than daisy dukes, in my opinion. Every celebrity has made these hot from Jessica Simpson to Megan Fox. These shorts are a classic for a variety of reasons. Denim goes with everything. Daisy dukes look hot with a bikini top or nothing at all. AND daisy dukes are easy to make.
Do you have ripped jeans? Tear them up and make them into daisy dukes! Let's see those thighs, ladies.
There are shorts that we call "coochie cutters" which are very short shorts that are not denim. Coochie cutters really outline a woman's front. These shorts look like they are painted on women's bodies and that is something that I will NEVER complain about. Oh, you want to show me the outline of your lower lips? I will literally never object.
And, yet again, I have to check these shorts out from the back. Short shorts are practically required to show some booty cheek - or at least give us a barely-there outline of a bubble butt. Coochie cutters not only look like they are digging into a vagina in the front, but they appear to really showcase a round rump in the back. This is why they are the perfect bottom! Screw short skirts - let me see the outline of a woman's front and back!
Finally, I have to point out my new favorite look of the summer because these are genuinely popular right now. Now there are yoga shorts or bike shorts. These are shorts that are made for athletic activities - and who doesn't love a woman who knows how to move her body? Bike shorts are SO good at showing camel toe. And that ass? These shorts are practically glued to the booty!
So girls in short shorts? Yay or nay? Do you think it is a titillating look or would you rather just see underwear? Or nothing at all? I really think short shorts are the perfect tease. I don't object to a sundress or anything like that, but I definitely prefer to see a woman walk around in her short shorts. I think you might agree with me after checking out all of these hotties.
