Sad news today: the Netflix drama Sex/Life has been canceled! The Sarah Shahi vehicle which has provided very sexy nude scenes - nearly 30, in fact - in only two seasons will truly be missed. Let's take a look at the hottest nude scenes that Sex/Life provided.
The show first aired in 2021 and it had people talking. The internet was buzzing because of both the male and female nudity on the show. Obviously, we care mostly about the female nudity. Luckily, both seasons had A LOT of that. The nudity mostly came from the series' star, but there were a handful of other women who went topless in the series such as Amber Goldfarb, Krista Morin, Leigh Truant, and Margaret Odette.
The series follows a former party girl who is now married with kids. She used to be wild and have a ton of casual sex with strange men. Now that she is settled down, she yearns for her former life. She reminisces about her sexcapades as we see all kinds of scenes from Sarah.
Sarah does wear prosthetic breasts in the updated scenes because she has recently had a baby, so her boobs have to look huge and milky. She even milks her prosthetic mams at one point! Sarah squirts milk and we can't believe what we are seeing.
We do see her regular breasts. A lot. The second season did not feature any prosthetics, so we got to check out Sarah's sexy sacks from Sarah and several other beautiful actresses who seem to enjoy putting the "sex" into Sex/Life.
The entire series is based on a book by B.B. Easton called 44 Chapters About 4 Men. I don't know if the two seasons of the Netflix show accurately explored all 44 chapters of the story by Ms. Easton, but we did see nearly 44 sexy scenes. So that's something! Stacy Rueyser adapted the book and turned it into this hot series!
So why was this show canceled? It was a sensation on social media. Even TikTok got behind it! The answer is not clear, but actress Sarah Shahi alluded to the second season not feeling the same as the first when she was shooting it. On the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, Shahi explicitly said that she struggled with the second season's "gimmicky storylines". Those storylines did present themselves with hot sex scenes.
She continued to say, “I’m not going to put it down, but I definitely did not have the support that I did the first season from the people involved in the show. It became a much different thing for me, and I’m not afraid to say that. I struggled with the material. I just felt the thing that it had the first season — I mean, I’m never gonna work for Netflix again now after saying all this, but I can’t lie. And it was definitely a challenge.”
This series will certainly be missed. Sex/Life gave us life...sexy life!
