These were first ladies who had strong opinions and strong presences in The White House and Showtime is about to show us that they may have had more in common than we ever thought that they did.
Viola Davis, Gillian Anderson, and Michelle Pfeiffer will all step into these big roles. Politics aside, the three actresses playing these famous women are famous for being talented AND sexy. All three of them have super skintastic scenes!
Viola Davis will play Michelle Obama and while the award-winning actress has never gone nude, she has gotten lesbian in the Shonda Rhimes' series How to Get Away with Murder. She played Annalise Keating when she locked lips with her lady lover played by Liza Weil.
Gillian Anderson plays Eleanor Roosevelt, the strong-willed woman behind FDR. I'm excited for her role on the show because the trailer seems like it will shine a light on some of the rumors of lesbianism behind Mrs. Roosevelt. That means we will get to watch the fiery Gillian Anderson work her magic with another woman!
Michelle Pfeiffer plays Betty Ford who is probably my favorite of these wild first ladies. As a history nerd, I think Betty is fascinating. As a Skin lover, I think Michelle is wonderful.
Michelle has been sexy for decades and she isn't about to stop being exactly that way any time soon - despite becoming a controversial first lady. She is no stranger to controversy or to being sexy in movies like A Thousand Acres and Into the Night in which she showed all 3 B's.
