The only nudity in theaters this weekend comes with the slightly expanded release of Gaby Hoffmann’s nude debut in Crystal Fairy (2013). You may remember Gaby as the child star of Uncle Buck, but here she’s all grown up and getting buck naked. Thanks, Crystal Hairy!
Perpetual adolescent Michael Cera seeks to shed some of his immature image in the Sundance SKINsation Crystal Fairy (2013). Cera stars as Jaime, a drug-addled pseudo-intellectual who invites a free-spritied hippie chick who calls herself Crystal Fairy (Gaby Hoffman) along for a mescaline-fueled journey of self-discovery along the beaches of Chile. And Gaby is indeed free-spirited, which to Mr. Skin means "will shed her clothes at the drop of a hat"; that same hat drops at the 32-minute mark as Gaby goes full frontal for a room full of guys, 49 minutes in when she does a braless handstand in the sand, an hour and 17 minutes in when she strips completely nude on a nature hike and once more at the one-hour, 24-minute mark when she goes hitchhiking au natural. Crystal Fairy? More like tits n' hairy!
