If it were up to us, every movie that hit theaters would be chock full of female flesh. But until that glorious day arrives, we are stuck with another non-nude week in the cinema. The wide release this week is the mega-budgeted fantasy flick The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, but don’t look there for any unexpected skin. A little bit sexier is new release Save the Date (2012), featuring tempting brunettes Lizzy Caplan and Alison Brie as sisters grappling with commitment. Sadly, there's no need to mark this movie down on your calendar, because the closest they get to nude is Lizzy in her skivvies at the 8-minute mark.

Banking on the epic success of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Peter Jackson is back with the first of three epic fantasy-adventure films based on J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit. The first film in the trilogy, An Unexpected Journey (2012), follows the hobbit, Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman), on a quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from the dragon Smaug (Benedict Cumberbatch). Accompanied by 13 dwarves led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage), Bilbo is in for quite an adventure. The action may be epic, but female characters are few and far between with only a fully clothed Cate Blanchett showing up as an Elven ruler. So there’s not much to prompt any J.R.R.king off!

Two sisters grapple with commitment in the indie comedy Save the Date (2012). Sarah (Lizzy Caplan) and Beth (Alison Brie) are sisters who are dating two best friends, Andrew (Martin Starr) and Kevin (Geoffrey Arend). But while Beth is planning her wedding, Sarah decides to escape the obligation of moving in with her boyfriend by breaking up with him. Then she complicates matters further by immediately rebounding with a new man, Jonathan (Mark Webber). With her sister wrapped up in escalating wedding fervor, Sarah is forced to trust her own instincts. Despite her delicious nude debut in True Blood, Lizzy Caplan keeps it under wraps in Save the Date, but there is still plenty of skin revealed as she dances in her skivvies with her boyfriend at the 8-minute mark. Then we get more bursting bra action 46 minutes in as she gets banged up against a wall. One look at Lizzy and your hands will be busy!
