Sometimes we're just not sure what movies are going to have nudity in them and which movies aren't, but we think there's a better than average chance that the new love story Daddy Issues is going to be one of those movies with nudity. Madison Lawlor, whom you might recognize from Dear White People and The Honor List, steps into the leading role in what's sure to be a breakout film for the actress.
Daddy Issues marks the feature directorial debut of actress turned writer/director Amara Cash (I'll Eat You Alive) and this plot summary from IMDb gives us some idea of what to expect...
Maya (Lawlor), a queer pixie artist, meets and falls madly in love with her insta-crush: the sexually fluid fashionista, Jasmine (Montana Manning). It's all gumdrops and fairytales until Maya discovers Jasmine's passionate relationship with a secret sugar daddy.
While it is undeniably impossible to predict if Daddy Issues is going to have nudity, I would say that based on the trailer, the subject matter, and the logline, we're hopefully in for a skin-filled good time. But when's the last time a trailer lead you astray?
