Some franchises just won't die, no matter how rough the road is, and Charlie's Angels has had one of the rougher roads over the last forty-plus years going from a kick ass TV show to an also-ran show, followed by two campy films directed by McG. This new take on the material seems to be hewing closer to the original TV show, and marks the first time there's a woman behind the camera.

Pitch Perfect 2 director Elizabeth Banks writes, directs, and stars as Bosley to a new generation of Angels played by Kristen Stewart, Aladdin's Naomi Scott, and relative newcomerElla Balinska. I have to admit that I was fooled by the trailer's first scene, thinking that it was Amber Heard and not Kristen Stewart—thanks mostly to the wig she's wearing—but this flick is chockablock with wigs.

With this more "woke" approach to the material, it's highly unlikely there will be any nudity in the flick, but you never know with all the seducing and destroying these ladies are doing, there might be time for a nudity detour. Even if there isn't, I'm pretty sure this will be a solid hit this fall as women will want to see a "girl power" movie and most heterosexual men can't resist the allure of these Angels.

Charlie's Angels return to theaters on November 15.
